Frequently asked questions
What is The Salvus Network?+
The Salvus Network is a real-time RFID location platform for major-hazard sites. It reads long-range RFID at gates, muster points and restricted-zone thresholds to give a live, auditable picture of every worker, asset and zone — used for evacuation and mustering, asset tracking, lone-worker safety and access control.
What does COMAH require for personnel accountability?+
COMAH 2015 requires operators to have emergency plans (Regulation 7) and a major-accident prevention policy (Regulation 5). In practice this means being able to account for everyone on site quickly and accurately during an incident. The Salvus Network provides a live, timestamped muster record that evidences this.
How is Salvus different from Sense.tech, Litum or MSite?+
The Salvus Network combines long-range RFID mustering with a live operator console you can see working in the first meeting, transparent pricing, UK data residency and Cyber Essentials accreditation. It runs on long-range reads rather than turnstiles, so you get zone awareness without funnelling people through choke points.
How long does deployment take?+
A live evacuation demo runs on your own site map within 24 hours. Full hardware deployment timelines depend on site size and the level of precision required, and are scoped during the demo.
What integrations does Salvus support?+
Salvus integrates with HR and payroll systems (SAP SuccessFactors), project controls (Procore), ERP (SAP), communications (Microsoft Teams) and BI tools, with permit-to-work and additional integrations on the roadmap.
Where is my data hosted?+
Customer data is hosted in the UK. The Salvus Network is GDPR-compliant, Cyber Essentials certified, with ISO 27001 certification in progress and a documented sub-processor list available in the trust centre.
